My first video post!

Well, talk about getting out of our comfort zone!  But I did it. I’m pretty sure doing it at the last minute sort of defeats the purpose of generating traffic this week, but then it was Easter and we’ve been flooded – thanks Mother Nature.

Therefore, in order to compensate a bit, I created a subscription form (see at the bottom of the page) and if you subscribe, I’ll send you a gift – not PLR you’re seing everywhere, but actual original work, that I’m giving you for free. Curious? Just sign up! Or, if you have cold feet, listen to the video to find out what the gift is.

So in week 2 of the Quick Start Challenge, here is my first online video, featuring yours truly (as requested by Dean), and embedded from YouTube. The resolution is terrible (actually, everything about it is terrible), but the point is: i’ve done it and now you can see it.

Have a great day!

Marie

You rocked it Marie. Great job. I’d love to hear more about your photography too.

    Good stuff.

  2. Nancy says:

Marie – a nice, honest video. You don’t see that much anymore. Thanks for sharing.

    • Marie Di says:

      Hi Nancy,
I like to think that honesty is more present than we might sometimes be let to think by the media 🙂
Thanks for your visit and comment !

I’ll have it ready for you in a couple of days…

What a wonderful way to bring visitors back. And made by you, so we know it has your personal touch.

    • Marie Di says:

Being personal was the point, for me. I have so many Gigabytes of unused PLR stuff on my hard drive that I don’t really care to get any more, and I’m guessing I’m not the only one in that position in our QSC bunch 🙂 That’s why I wanted to make sure viewers understood this was actually original work.
Thanks for you visit and comment!

    • Marie Di says:

      Thanks Ari,

The gifts will be coming later tonight or tommorrow (I have a client who has priority in my schedule 🙂 ).
If I don’t have time to set-up a download page, I’ll email the gift to all who signed up.

      Good Luck in your Challenge!

  7. Hey great video! I think the entire video process was new for everyone so definitely a plus to get out of that comfort zone and just do it! Good luck with the rest of the challenge!

  9. Good work Marie,

Creating a first video is always difficult, but in due time you,me and all the other QSC members will master video creating. Remember this day, and come back in year from now to see how much progress you have made..

    To your success

    • Marie Di says:

Hey, I like your thinking. However, the problem here was not creting a video, because believe it or not I’ve trained a bit in that field back at the university. The real problem was creating a video of myself with no real tools other than and iPod and doing it last minute (of course) without having time to learn the proper software (notably, to go from m4v to mp4, which is where I lost most of the resolution).

But you’re right. I resisted producing video so far and this challenge is forcing me to do it. I’m probbly going to thank Dean for the rest of my life for this LOL!

      Great Success to you too!

  10. Great video Marie, well done. Good luck with the rest of the challenge.

Wow, wow, Marie. You are one amazing woman. I am very impressed, and your free gift was an “irresistible offer”. Your web skills are so evident in the response to subscribing–how did you do that? Thank you for visiting my website and the comments you left. Now I understand what is being reflected. 😉 Let’s stay in touch, for sure. Let us rise together to success. Smiles, Anne
